Q-Ranger
Precision Underwater Laser Measurement System
Q-Ranger is a simple underwater laser ranging system that provides high accuracy distance measurement at up to 5m range and up to 1mm accuracy.
The system is very easy to install and operate with a compact ROV mountable housing with a depth rating of 3000m. Data outputs over IP or serial RS232/485 connecting the unit to a topside PC.
Q-Ranger is particularly useful in applications to determine dimensions in locations where acoustic systems would not be appropriate due to interference from pipework, or other structures or objects in the vicinity.
